Improving deep drawability through recrystallisation texture control
Deep drawability of ferritic stainless steel is improved by increasing the r-value, which depends on microstructure and recrystallisation texture. Multistage thermo-mechanical processing is performed to impart a homogeneous distribution of <111> || ND oriented grains.
